At Grandma Dianna's over Memorial Weekend, it was my goal to get a picture of her five grand kids all together. No small task.
I think this one ends up being the winner even though the little guys aren't looking at the camera. It's the best we could do!
Always have to do a silly one at the end of the photo shoot:
We always have to bring bikes to Grandma's because her hill is so fun to speed down!
Bekah was insistent that Alarik try it too.
He alternated between crying and laughing as his bike rolled down the hill out of his control.
But overall he ended up loving it!
There was still one muddy puddle in Grandma's driveway so Scott and Bekah's favorite thing to do was whiz down the hill at top speed and splash through that. Scott ended the day with a lot of dried mud on him!
There wasn't much hoopla on his actual birthday. Jesse and I painted soffit and fascia most of the day while the kids played in the yard. We went to Grandma Dianna's for dinner with the cousins and she was thoughtful enough to have a cake for Alarik.
Alarik's latest cute little thing is that he holds his arms out to the sides with palms facing up when asking a question such as "Where Daddy go?" or "Where my bike?" It's A-dorable! He's also picked up the phrase "one more time!" and he uses it even when he means 30 more times, as in every single time he goes down the slide. He also says it after you put on one sock or one shoe..."one more time, mom!" What a little smarty.
First there were all the photos of Scott's crazy sleeping positions/arrangements. Now this:
This is how I found Scott when I woke him up a few mornings ago. He'd tied his own wrists to his own ankles and then slept like that all night and walked around the house like a puppet when he got up (and still yawning)!
And don't ask what headless Bekah is doing in the background of this photo. I think I was telling her to get out of the background so she was jumping out, apparently headfirst. Weird kid.
